Speaking & collaborations

Conversations about accessibility, representation, independence and inclusive experience.

This page brings together selected public work and the themes I can contribute to conferences, panels, podcasts and institutional discussions.

Public work

Participation is the common thread.

The settings have varied — a youth parliament, a documentary, a human library and conversations about employment, feminism and foster care — but each one raises questions about who is heard, who can decide and what conditions make participation possible.

Public work is also collective work.

Themes

Four areas to develop in conversation.

01

Access and participation

Why physical access and legal compliance do not guarantee autonomy, dignity, choice or comparable participation.

02

Inclusive experience design

How to examine the complete experience of an event, hotel, workplace or cultural venue from beginning to end.

03

Representation and public narratives

Who is visible, who controls the narrative and how representation shapes expectations about disabled people.

04

Independence, employment and choice

The relationship between autonomy, professional development, economic independence, mobility and support that leaves the person in control.

Collaborations

Speaking and editorial collaborations.

I am open to editorial conversations, panels, podcasts and institutional discussions connected to these areas of work. I am not currently offering general consulting or event production services.
